The stats only show activity that occurred through our player. The direct file link is a direct link to the file which bypasses our player. Instead, you should use the embedded player code or preview link option. Both of these use the player and stats will be accounted for.
If you simulcast to Facebook, it will only register ONE View for the instance. Facebook is a separate platform and only gives stats on THEIR platform streams. To see the Facebook stats, you will need to click on Facebook analytics.
