Instructions for using your Android or iPhone to stream.

Download from Google Play Store:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.wmspanel.larix_broadcaster&hl=en_US

Click gear icon to open settings:

Connections:
 1. Create a new connection.
 2. Enter any label/Name.
 3. For URL, copy the server url and stream key from our dashboard for your chosen stream. Combine the Server Url and Stream Key with a "/" to make it a single line.
 4. Mode is Audio + Video
 5. Click Save

Go back to main settings menu. Click on "Video"

Video:

1. Disable "Bitrate matches resolution"

2.
 IF YOU HAVE > 4mbps upload bandwidth:
 1. Video size 1280x720
 2. Encoder > Bitrate: 1800 (kbps)
 3, Format: H264

 IF YOU HAVE > 1.5mbps upload bandwidth:
 1. Video size 800x450
 2. Encoder > Bitrate: 800 (kbps)
 3. Format: H264

2. Keyframe frequency: 2 sec

3. Adaptive bitrate (all the way at the bottom): Ladder ascend


Then save/exit.

That's it. Click the red icon to start streaming.

LARIX BROADCASTER (iPhone / iPad)

Download from Apple app store:

Click gear icon to open settings:

Connections:
 1. Click + to create a new connection.

 4. Mode is Audio + Video
 5. Click Save

Go back to main settings menu.

Click Video:

Disable "Bitrate matches resolution".

 IF YOU HAVE > 4mbps upload bandwidth:
 1. Resolution 1280x720
 2. Bitrate (kbps): 2,000 (kbps)
 3, Format: H264

 IF YOU HAVE > 2mbps upload bandwidth:
 1. Resolution 960x540
 2. Bitrate (kbps): 1,000 (kbps)
 3. Format: H264

 IF YOU HAVE > 1mbps upload bandwidth:
 1. Resolution 960x540
 2. Bitrate (kbps): 500 (kbps)
 3. Format: H264

2. Keyframe frequency: 2 sec

3.
Adaptive bitrate streaming (all the way at the bottom) > mode: Ladder ascend


That's it. Return to the program and click the red icon to start streaming.
